How is writing impacted by prior experiences? I think for sure your style of writing is impacted by what you have grown up with and have been taught. For example, if you grow up with a family who is very formal and proper, you would write in a way that is very formal and proper. If your family communicates a lot by texting or speaks in such a way that would be considered lazy or improper, you might tend to write in that way.

How do sponsors gain from their sponsorship? In the case of my parents, they have gained because they now have someone to help out with all the big projects. Since they have taught me to work and do well with craftsman type labor, they now have someone who can help out keeping the house in repair and doing odd jobs. I know this is not really considered a literary sponsorship, but it is definitely a way that their sponsorship has paid off.

How do race and class impact the sponsorship of someone? This is a fairly easy question, the poorer people and classes tend to not have as many opportunities as the people who are in a wealthier class. If you do not get as many opportunities, you will find it harder to learn and to grow in particular areas. You tend to follow what your parents set out for you, so if you are in a poorly sponsored class, you will probably not have very great sponsorship.

How has my faith been sponsored to me? It has been primarily sponsored by my parents. They have taught me a lot about faith and what it means to believe. I think to be sponsored in spiritual literacy means to be taught more about what it means to have a personal savior and to be in close connection with Him. This is probably one of the most important literacies that you could be sponsored in, it truly will impact the rest of your life.

What concept do I struggle to understand? I think the biggest challenge is determining what is appropriated and misappropriated sponsorship. From my reading and research, it seems like it is more like a passive sponsorship, where the sponsor is not consciously giving out help to you. It seems to me like you are just copying the sponsor and learning things through that style of learning versus a teacher/student learning style.
